NINE intrepid litter pickers set of on a loop around the coppice in idyllic weather conditions, enthusiastly searching for litter.

Special kudos to David’s 4 year old son,( whom already is a dab hand with a litter picker), Julie whom had the foresight to keep the plastics and cans separate and took home to put in relevant recycling (like the strategic thinking) and last but not least Robert whom defied gravity to get down steep slopes to rescue mis-placed rubbish. Removing this deep seated litter puts me at ease that no animal will come to harm from it.

FOUR bags have successfully been collected that the council have agreed to collect tomorrow.
