News from The Friends of Rhyddings Park – the refurbished playarea is now open – Phase 1.
Final Safety Inspection took place yesterday.

Some fencing remains up as there are a couple of jobs to finish – so when the contractors return to finish, it will close for a couple of hours.

However, brilliant news it is now open for the children to enjoy 

Thanks to Hyndburn Borough Council Parks Dept & Lancashire Environment Fund.

Phase 2 of the project will see improvements to play equipment in the woodland area of the park and will begin later this year. Work will include a new safety surface, a platform for the slide and installation of a new bouldering wall.
